Role overview
Lead and manage standardized Business Development Services training and administration to Small Medium Enterpreners within Iringa Region.

Skills, qualifications and experience required
5 years project management experience with multiple stakeholders in a training or service delivery environment within the private sector.

• Developing, monitoring and managing project budgets.

• Experience designing, monitoring and evaluating projects and writing reports.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to vary communication content and style to suit audiences to inform, motivate and inspire. Must be fluent in English and Swahili.

• Strong relationship development and management skills and ability to develop effective networks.

• Sensitive to gender issues and the treatment of women and must believe women and men are equal.

• Excellent coordination, planning and time management skills with experience working under pressure
Ability to analyse and quickly grasp the fundamentals of a need or issue. Able to find innovative ways of solving or pre-empting problems.

• Ability to be flexible and adaptable to change

Role overview
The ideal person for this position will be working with Technical Vocational Institute's to support their project in ensuring that the Institutes manage to prepare graduates who are able to translate entrepreneurship ideas into reality in a more innovative and creative ways. She/he will support teachers, VSO and industry links person closely for this role to ensure students and graduates from are motivated for self-employability and the spirit of entrepreneurship.

Skills, qualifications and experience required
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business management or social science, Entrepreneurship, Economics or related is required
You have a background in training, education or facilitation skills will be the most advantageous factor for this position.
You live by examples on entrepreneurship and are able to combine ideas and reality to support graduates put entrepreneurship theories into practice for self-employment

Allowance and accommodation

All volunteers have an allowance paid in local currency. The allowance meets reasonable living expenses in country, but will not be enough to send money home.

VSO works with some of the poorest communities in the world which means accommodation varies and will be basic.
