Nyota Tanzania Limited is looking to recruit an Inland Operations Associate to be positioned in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania and reporting to the Inland Operations Manager Tanzania.
Key Responsibilities
To manage and coordinate all Equipment and Intermodal
Perform administrative duties related to the equipment flow in accordance with the planning schedule and anticipated discrepancy that may arise
Monitor process in order to guarantee sufficient and appropriate Equipment Stock in all depots in Tanzania
Support empty positioning and empty evacuation to prevent out of stock and overstock situations
Give timely notice to nominated subcontractors on work to be done
Control subcontractors’ performance and maintain active communication with Coordination teams, local management, trucking companies, etc.
Follow up with all Depot/location in Tanzania in reducing longstanding empty containers in their facilities and submit weekly report to Inland Operations manager
