Nyota Tanzania Limited is looking to recruit an Inland Operations Associate to be positioned in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania and reporting to the Inland Operations Manager Tanzania.
Key Responsibilities
  • To manage and coordinate all Equipment and Intermodal
  • Perform administrative duties related to the equipment flow in accordance with the planning schedule and anticipated discrepancy that may arise
  • Monitor process in order to guarantee sufficient and appropriate Equipment Stock in all depots in Tanzania
  • Support empty positioning and empty evacuation to prevent out of stock and overstock situations
  • Give timely notice to nominated subcontractors on work to be done
  • Control subcontractors’ performance and maintain active communication with Coordination teams, local management, trucking companies, etc.
  • Follow up with all Depot/location in Tanzania in reducing longstanding empty containers in their facilities and submit weekly report to Inland Operations manager
