Background
Tanzania association of professionals BDS provider (TAPBDS) is qualified and experienced Tanzanian company providing diverse business development services in the areas of entrepreneurship, business and financial management, leadership and governance for SMEs. This wealth of knowledge allows the company to provide services that place it at the edge of business and entrepreneurship development consultancy in Tanzania.

Currently the company is looking for highly motivated internship candidate who will work hand in hand with finance manager to achieve project goals.

Job Title: Accountant
General Details
Job Title : Accountant
Job Category : Internship
Location : Dar es Salaam with occasional travel to Iringa
Duration : 6 months (renewable)
Reports to : financial manager

Duties and Responsibilities
a. Managing all financial processes ensuring confidentiality, accurate and timely record keeping and data management
b. Control of day cash book
c. Record day and periodic expenses
d. Managing Requisitions
e. Effecting bank reconciliation
f. Preparing payments
g. Keeping all source documents
h. Preparing quarterly and annual financial report
i. Management of petty cash
Note: and other related duties that will be under instruction by financial manager

Qualifications
Education
A holder of Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Banking from a recognized higher learning institution is eligible to this position.
Experience and competences
Fresh graduate from reputable university/ institute/college
Language
The candidate must be fluent in written and spoken Swahili and English

Eligibility and Mode of Application
● The candidate must be a Tanzanian
● Age requirement:30yrs maximum
