Position Summary: Clinical Officer is a leadership position that combines direct patient care with administrative responsibilities at Chamkoroma Dispensary. The Clinical Officer shall supervise all aspects of medical patient care services provided by the dispensary including laboratory and pharmacy services. Working from a solutions-oriented approach, the Clinical Officer monitors clinical performance to ensure medical services and operations are in compliance with all applicable regulatory and licensing authorities. The position also serves as a coach/mentor/trainer to the clinical staff giving guidance in best practices.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Ensure medical services and operations are in compliance with all applicable regulatory and licensing agencies.
Assess all matters of clinical compliance and provide timely recommendations for corrective actions and quality improvement.
Diagnose and treating common illness;
Prepare budget for dispensary services;
Ordere and safe-keeping of medicine and first aid equipment;
Provide preventive and curative services;
Provide primary health care services;
Educate the community on health issues; Participate in staff outreach and off-site health care programs
Participate in ensuring cleanliness of the staff living premises;
Ensure proper MCH services are available in the Dispensary;
Refer patients to district, regional and referral hospitals, as may be required; and
Perform other relevant duties as may be assigned by superior officer.

The successful candidate will have experience in a laboratory environment and accuracy in order to extract reliable and valid results.

Position: Principal Physiotherapist II

Position Summary: The incumbent will be responsible for helping patients with physical difficulties resulting from illness, injury, disability or ageing to improve their movement. S/he will devise and review treatment programs using manual therapy (such as massage), therapeutic exercise and electrotherapy. S/he will be responsible for prevention, treatment and alleviation of a wide range of disorders. The Incumbent will carry out work in areas such as gross motor development, postural management, hydrotherapy, orthotic assessment and monitoring, sensory integration, respiratory conditions and orthopedic issues.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise staff in physiotherapy department
Assess patient’s physical condition to diagnose musculoskeletal, neurological and cardiothoracic conditions  
Treat patients with critical and complex functional disabilities
Create a tailored treatment plan to address patient’s conditions , taking into account their age, fitness levels and any other medical conditions
Apply a range of physiotherapy techniques to address discovered conditions (including tailored exercises, massage therapy, hydrotherapy, breathing and relaxation techniques)
Conduct complex spinal and peripheral joint mobilization techniques
Properly apply equipment to conduct above techniques, including heat packs, ice packs, exercise (gym) equipment and ultrasound and electrotherapy technologies
Teach trauma patients to walk again and use related equipment such as walking frames, splints, crutches and wheelchairs
Educate clients, their families and the general community on how to prevent common musculoskeletal injuries so they can lead a healthy lifestyle 
Refer patients to other members of the medical community such as doctors and surgeons if necessary
Plan and implement community physiotherapy/fitness programs
Treat patients with all kinds of ailments - just about anything from sporting injuries and persistent joint problems, to paralysis resulting from strokes and neurological conditions.

Position Summary: The incumbent will be responsible for dispensing prescriptions and be involved in the purchasing and quality testing of medicines. S/he will work closely with medical and nursing staff to make sure hospital patients receive the best treatment, advising on the selection, dose and type of administration. S/he will prepare medicines and conduct quality checks in instances when individual drug components need to be mixed together before treating patients. The incumbent will be responsible for planning and monitoring clinical trials and stay updated on pharmacy regulations, treatments and developments in research and design.

S/he must have thorough understanding of triage to be able to prioritize injuries based on medical need. S/he must have the ability to make quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients, including both physical and mental health conditions.

Manage various life-support systems including ventilation, heart monitoring and precisely delivered medications
Provide professional nursing care for assigned patients in the intensive care unit.
Provide bed side nursing care to assigned stable patients in the ICU unit based on basic assessment and evaluating the outcomes.
Provide routine care for all patients admitted in ICU
Evaluate, assesse, and document the total intensive care nursing process as needed.
Monitor vital signs and report any deviation from normal to the concerned team leader
Give Psychological support to the patient and family.

Position Summary: Under the direction of Clinical Officer at the dispensary, the incumbent will be responsible for all cash and check payments made to the dispensary, including receipts and appropriately posting them to patient accounts receivable and non-patient accounts receivable. The cashier will also be responsible for preparing the daily bank deposit and submit it to appropriate authorities.


Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain control of all cash and check receipts.
Prepare bank deposits for the dispensary
Balance out cash received against receipts
Control Petty Cash receipts and deposits
Perform daily banking
Insure proper posting of all receipts to the appropriate accounts
Receive payments at the cashiers’ office and responds to patient concerns relating to balances and billing questions for the Accounts Receivables.
Manage up-to-date clinic income records by sending and receiving bank checks and documenting all relevant transactions
