BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

Business Development and KD Management
o    Prospect for new business from appointed Key Distributors (KDs) and Sub Distributors (SDs) to increase company revenues.

o    Survey, visit, call (as appropriate) your KDs/SDs to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
o    Meet as appropriate appointed KDs/SDs.
o    Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the KDs/SDs needs, concerns, and objectives.
o    Participate in customer services and troubleshooting activities.
o    Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
o    Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
o    Keep a close eye on KD/SD stock norms, payments, etc.
o    Submit weekly reports (sales, stock, etc.) to the management.
o    Ensure that data is accurate and is entered in the system by the KD regularly.
o    Help KD understand KPIs.
o    Monitor KDs KPIs on regular basis.
o    Forecast sales for the coming weeks/months.
o    Track and record sales by KD and assist them wherever possible to meet their targets.
Client Retention
o    Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
o    Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
o    Provide efficient customer service and look after their interests.
o    Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
o    Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
Education
BDE position require a bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of sales and/or sales management experience. Experience of working with or managing distributors would be definite plus.

Networking, Persuasion, Motivation for Sales, Sales Planning, Identification of Customer Needs and Challenges, Territory Management, Market Knowledge, Meeting Sales Goals, Professionalism, and Microsoft Office.
