Role Purpose

To increase sales, market share, company profitability and customer satisfaction by working with the customers, providing them with expert product knowledge and selection assistance of the building materials, and present excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities

Assist customers on the showroom floor
Onsite customer visits and relationship building
Educate customers on the selection process of various products in the showroom
Build lasting relationships with customers by attentively following up on inquires and purchases
Support sales and management efforts of company’s associates with a positive attitude and team focus
Sell the Showroom Value
Acquire and maintain sufficient product knowledge and strive to continually increase knowledge base
Participate in on and offsite meetings, trainings, and events as required
Academic qualifications

Essential

A Bachelor in related field is required
Work experience

Essential
Two years of Retail Sales in Construction and Building Materials experience
 Skills

Ability to develop business relationships with customers and co-workersPassion about home trends and/or design building/re-modellingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHigh level of ownership, accountability, and initiativeExcellent listening & negotiation skills.Professional, presentation, work ethic, and behaviour.Self-motivated with the ability to identify business opportunities for the mutual benefit of the customer and the Company.Accuracy and detail oriented
