1. JOB DETAILS

POSITION: Marketing Officer (e-Commerce) (1 Post)

DEPARTMENT: Commercial and Business Development

REPORTS TO: Marketing Manager

STATION: Dar es Salaam

2. JOB PURPOSE

To coordinate all e-Commerce activities through engaging and expanding Company's capabilities in - social media, emails, e-marketing, affiliate sales, and web experience. The candidate will work closely with all aspects of the business including events, - design, and leadership in developing a comprehensive e-commerce presence.

3. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Analyse e-commerce transactions and site performance behaviour to enhance customer experience and recommend changes to improve customer retention and conversion.
  • Develop, supervise, and implement multi-channel marketing calendars to coincide with other company initiatives and campaigns across social media, on-site marketing, email marketing, and performance marketing channels.
  • Prep re reports to track all activities on all company's social media platforms such as website, lnstagram, YouTube etc, perform tests and assist in website conversion improvements
  • Oversee and coordinate all e-commerce related ad spend across demand channels including, but not limited to, Google, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Bing, and Remarketing platforms
  • Responsible for the online marketing activities aimed at increasing relevant traffic flow and sales conversion using Display, email marketing, social media and affiliate campaigns, ensure delivery of all campaign applications on time, to budget and to the highest standard
  • Continuously Monitor Competition Track, Understand Market Dynamics through Market working & Market Analysis.
  • Developing and implementing initiatives to increase e-Newsletter subscribers to achieve targets
  • Interaction and me managing synergies with other departments for product -launch and for disseminating info of new product/initiatives. Monitor product performance and analysis of product success/failure
  • Coordinate training of stake holders and ensure contact center, frontline sales and marketing are well versed with ATCL e-commerce products.
  • Run programs for enhancing acquisition revenue and ensure good channel satisfaction scores
  • Implement ATCL policies for Sal and Heakhy and monitor practices in relation to staff wellbeing.
  • To create and maintain good business relationship with all stakeholders by providing timely information and updates for required reporting or/and decision making processes
  • The duties listed above are the key duties of the E-Commerce Coordinator but are not limited to these duties. The company may expand them as it deems necessary to meet the needs of the company and its sales efforts.

5. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIE.NCE


  • A Bachelor Degree in Marketing/Business Administration or Relevant Field
  • A relevant Master's Degree and exposure to the airline or travel industry will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience in Consumer Sales, Operational Management, Call Centre, Distribution, etc.
