Kilombero Sugar Company Limited, the largest producer of sugar in Tanzania operating cohesively
with Extra Neutral Alcohol Distillery (IDTL) is seeking to recruit a dynamic and result oriented person to fill a vacancy of Process Shift Superintendent reporting to Assistant Process Manager.

ASSISTANT MEDICAL OFFICER

DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Writes report
Attends to patients at OPD
Makes evaluation of previous treated patient in terms of clinical progress and changes management according to support and measure the continuous improvement initiative within the company
Makes ward rounds

Monitor progress of patient
Makes follow- up on patient progress
Keeps issues and monitoring stock of medicine for specific clinics
Refers patient to the medical officers attention benchmarking and optimization of costs with the Illovo group
Assist finance manager on day to day work requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS
i. advanced diploma in clinical medicine
ii. must have at least 5 years working experience clinical medicine in recognizable hospital
iii. should have surgical and must be able to perform C/section and basic emergency obstetric procedure
iv. training basic ART, PMTCT, TB relevant TB/HIV knowledge and skills to attend PLHIV is strongly needed
v. able to work on extra time hours
vi. able to work under pressure
vii. must able to demonstrate management and leadership skills
viii. knowledge on occupational and public health

The successful candidate will be engaged on contract 1 term

Illovo holds 55% of the issued share capital in Kilombero Sugar Company Limited, with 20% held by ED&F Man, a London-based commodities group, and 25% by the government of Tanzania. Kilombero is situated in the Morogoro region in the centre/south of the country. It comprises two adjacent agricultural estates and sugar factories, Msolwa and Ruembe, situated on either side of the Great Ruaha River and linked by a low-level bridge. It produces direct consumption brown sugar under the ‘Bwana Sukari’ brand name, which is marketed and distributed by the company. Kilombero is one of four sugar producers in Tanzania which, at current production levels of just over 300 000 tons of sugar, is a net importer of sugar. A new 12 million litres per annum potable alcohol distillery was commissioned in August 2013, supplying high quality product to local beverage manufacturers.
