Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather market and clients information
  • Act as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing and potential clients in person and via telephone calls and emails
  • Arrange and execute meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business
  • Manage all incoming sales related emails and phone enquiries
  • Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales
  • Advise on forthcoming product developments
  • Create detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer
  • Make accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations.
  • Run sales periodic reports
  • Conducting researches on the new marketing opportunities
  • Assist in development of marketing strategies
  • Develop and manage all after-sales activities
Key qualifications:
  • Holder of Bachelor of Business Administration in Sales & Marketing or equivalent from a recognize University
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven professional experience.
Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills; Proficient in English and Swahili
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to persuade others to buy products
  • Computer literate: Ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite without supervision
  • Methodological approach to problem solving and be able to use logic and reason to identify alternative solutions
  • Competent in preparing and making presentations in groups and one to one
