Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather market and clients information
- Act as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing and potential clients in person and via telephone calls and emails
- Arrange and execute meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business
- Manage all incoming sales related emails and phone enquiries
- Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales
- Advise on forthcoming product developments
- Create detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer
- Make accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations.
- Run sales periodic reports
- Conducting researches on the new marketing opportunities
- Assist in development of marketing strategies
- Develop and manage all after-sales activities
Key qualifications:
- Holder of Bachelor of Business Administration in Sales & Marketing or equivalent from a recognize University
- Minimum of 3 years of proven professional experience.
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills; Proficient in English and Swahili
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to persuade others to buy products
- Computer literate: Ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite without supervision
- Methodological approach to problem solving and be able to use logic and reason to identify alternative solutions
- Competent in preparing and making presentations in groups and one to one
