Tanzania Paralegal's Network (TAPANET) is a registered non-profitable organization. It was registered on 2010. The core
objectives of TAPANET is to increase the coordination and communication among Paralegals in Tanzania, to unify and streamline legal aid service in Tanzania and having one common voice for Paralegals. TAPANET is an umbrella organization with members from different regions of Tanzania mainland.with headquarters in Morogoro
TAPANET is seeking to recruit dynamic and professionals to fill the following positions.
Project Coordinator (1 Position)
Position Description :

  • The Coordinator will be the head of the secretariat and in-charge of all day to day activities of the Network and reporting to the Board of Directors,
  • At least 3 years professional experience of working with NGOs in similar position.
  • Monitoring project activities, outputs and progress towards anticipated results,
  • Conduct and providing support to data quality assessments with regards to project implementation
  • Analyzing quantitative and/or qualitative data and developing monthly, quarterly and annual reports

Minimum qualifications and experience required

  • A degree in Law (LLB).or other related field recognized Institutions.
  • At least 3 years professional experience in Project Management. Monitoring and Evaluation and Ability to mult-task and to handle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent skills in MS Excel and MS word, Fluently in oral and written English and Kiswahili
Assistant Administrative Officer (1 Position-Women are more encouraged to apply)

Position Description:

  • The Assistant Administrative Officer will Serve as front desk person
  • Performing daily administrative support activities, including maintaining paralegals database.
  • Maintaining office supply inventories,and coordinating meetings including note-taking and recording.
  • And other duties as assigned by the Coordinator.


Minimum qualifications and experiences required :

  • A Diploma in Gender and Development, Sociology, Community Development. A degree will be an added advantage,
  • At least 2 years professional experience working with NGOs,
  • Excellent skills in MS Excel and MS word, Fluently in oral and written English and Kiswahili.
Project Accountant (1 Position)

Position Description :
  • Maintaining and updating all financial records of the organization .
  • Preparing monthly,quarterly and annual financial reports.
  • Recording, classifying and summarizing financial transactions and events in accordance with accepted project budget line.
  • Advising and assisting management in the compilation and control of organizational budget.
  • Performing any other duties as may be assigned by the Coordinator.
Minimum qualifications and experience required :
  • A degree in Accountant.
  • At least 3 years professional experience working with NGOs in a similar position,
  • Excellent skills in MS Excel and MS word and Fluently in oral and written English and Kiswahili,
  • Ability to mull-task and to handle multiple priorities
