Health Technical Specialist jobs at PWC



Price waterhouce Cooperation Limited invites eligible candidate to indicate their interest to provide consultancy services as a health technical specialist to the field support services
project Tanzania

Candidate will be evaluated basing on the following key qualifications and experience

i. Master’s degree in public health or other relevant  health or medical field from a recognized university

ii. 5 years of cumulative full time professional work experience in the health sector in Tanzania in a non-clinical capacity eg. Management, administration, advocacy research etc

iii. Experience planning, designing, managing, monitoring, or evaluation health projects and programs as well as integrating cross cutting issues such as gender equality and environmental impact assessment

iv. Experience providing advisory service on reproductive, maternal, new born, child and adolescent health policy and programming and health systems strengthening broadly

v. Experience with sector budget support, providing advisory service to a bilateral development partners gender equality and result –based management capacities

vi. Experience in health sector reviews, donor coordination or health sector technical and financial reporting



In additional to the key qualifications above incumbent is also expected to demonstrate the following skills and competencies

- Knowledge of health sector policy priorities and process in Tanzania including planning management and budgeting of public sector resources

- Strong research analytical and writing skills

- Strong skills in leadership, team work, networking, coordination and intercultural communication and

- Fluency in English and proficiency in Kiswahili
