Qualifications Full Technician Certificate Advanced Diploma, Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience:
• Extensive mining industry experience
• Experience in the maintenance of industrial production/ processing equipment is of necessity.
• 10 years' experience as Foreman/ Senior Supervisor
• Supervisory skills with required experience managing multi- disciplinary team.
• Must be able to do planning for crusher shutdowns and long term planning for crusher's spares
• Must have the necessary computer skills.
• Must be able to fit into the process team and be a team player.
• Must have extensive Gold Plant experience, especially Grinding mills

Purpose of the Role: To manage and integrate the maintenance activities from a mechanical point of view in the crusher section, to enable the Process Department to optimize plant production at are reasonable cost. (The crusher section consists of primary, secondary and tertiary crusher system as well as the reclaim, lime addition, recycles crushers and conveyor belt system.) Must be able to assist in other Gold Plant sections as when needed.

1.1. Within areas of responsibility, ensure customers are aware of and comply with:

2. Key Work Management / BPF Accountabilities
'2.1. Execute the "Work Approval" element of the Work Management Framework.
2.2. Oversee and quality controls of the planning function of the approved work.
2.3. Oversee and quality control of work execution.
2.4. Execute the "Work closure" element of the Work Management Framework.
2.5. Comply with quality' specifications and authority levels set out in the documentation for these elements.
2.6. Review the Work Order Task Status Report on a daily basis:
2.7. Plan approved work orders (within area of responsibility) for resource procurement and execution prior to the Required by Date.
2.8. Engage with sub-ordinates to contribute to planning details from those expected to do the work.
2.9. Comply with applicable legislation, standards, policies and procedures.
2.10. Develop and use standard work packages to improve the efficiency of the executing of work.
3. Technical Areas
3.1. Support the execution process of the work by making sure the required work packages are developed.
3.2. Assist with any technical skills or knowledge required by sub-ordinates.
3.3. Keeps management informed and shares information. Provides well thought out, concise and timely oral and written information.
4. Risk assessment
4.1. In the creation and review of Work Packages an understanding and recording of associated risks and control measures is required.
