Mamujee products limited opened its doors in the year 1998 in Tanga city, Tanzania. The company is manufacturing cosmetics i.e. petroleum jelly, body lotions, baby care products, plastics packaging and cleaning material (home hygiene). Our factories are located at Gofu industrial area with the build up area of 7000 sq. meter.
All the products are manufactured in a state of the art and under hygienic condition and highly experienced technically qualified staff with the support of well-equipped laboratory continuously monitoring quality of the product manufactured. we use best quality raw materials imported from across the world.
We adhere to the act, which has been created specially for cosmetics by the government bodies like TFDA, TBS, government chemist and weights and measure.
our products are inspected and audited by the above said agencies regularly. since we are a cosmetics company we don’t use any hazardous raw materials. all the raw material consignments are tested in house and are reinforced for standards by government chemist for approval
we always meet all regulatory requirements and follow current good manufacturing practices (GMP) as well as good laboratory practices (GLP).
With that note we would like to announce a new opening for a responsible; quality control manager position which entitles overseeing and maintaining the standards set by the establishment and further partaking in bringing change as per new development to company policies and legislation.
The Main Responsibilities Are Stated Below
- Set up and maintain a QA management system agreed with management in collaboration with the departments
- Implementation of requirements contained in current standards
- Execution and evaluation of internal and external audits like TFDA, bureau of standards, weights and measures etc.,
Initiating and supervising corrective and preventative action against all non-conformances
- Ensure the GMP guidelines are met throughout the factory.
- Propose, develop, and execute programs designed to promote quality.
- Reporting to management about performance of QMS
Generate procedural instructions, work instructions, inspection and test instructions as well as inspection orders.
- Collect and evaluate quality non-conformities and problems.
- Ensure the analysis of raw material, in process material, packing material and finished goods are in agreed standards.
- Ensure the GLP guidelines are met in the lab.
- Product development knowledge is an advantage.
Qualifications
BSc/ MSc in chemistry/ industrial pharmacy/ biochemical sciences cosmetic sciences and related fields.
Specialization in QA/QC from certified establishments.
Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a GMP environment with quality management system, supply chain operations or manufacturing, in engineering, quality assurance, or supplier and service provider management required
Minimum 3 years’ external auditing experience of suppliers and service providers required.
DESIRABLE
Strong knowledge and experienced in working with the elements contained within Quality Management Systems used by Pharmaceutical, Cosmetic, Personal Care.
Strong knowledge of BP,IP and EP, ISO
Strong knowledge of Continuous Improvement Tools (Flow charts, Cause and effect diagrams, Pareto charts, Root Cause Analysis, etc.)
Expert in collaborating with internal and external customers and suppliers and service providers
