ASA Microfinance (Tanzania) Limited, incorporated under the Companies Act 2002 (No. 93819) of Tanzania and an affiliate of ASA International (www.asa-international.com), one of the largest microfinance company in the world is going to launch its operations in Tanzania. Presently the company is operating some branches in Dar es Salaam and its surroundings. We are inviting qualified people to be part of our operations team for the following positions. Position: Loan Officer/Assistant Loan Officer

Job Responsibilities:

-To build and maintain a substantial and high quality loan portfolio.

-To conduct members recruitment and screening.

-To orient clients to the particular loan products and services.

-To process loan applications and verify client’s income generating activities (IGA).

-To manage loan disbursements and monitor & collect loan repayments.

-To provide quality and good customer service to clients.

-To accomplish day to day activities as per the responsibilities.

Academic Qualification & Additional Requirements

-Diploma/A-Level/ Advance Diploma/Graduation

-Willingness to work in field level and to take challenges to serve people of Tanzania.

-Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and to demonstrate good negotiation skills.

-Good oral and written communication skills.

-Must have very clean bill of health required for job criteria.

-Age between 18+ and 35 years.

-The applicants have experience in any financial institutions/Microfinance Sectors should be given preference.

Probation period & Salary Range:

03 Months probation period and salary as per company policy.

Job Location: Dar es Salaam and it’s surrounding areas.
